Dear Toronto,

In less than 2 months, when I step foot on a plane destined for foreign lands, I will think of you fondly; oh that, I will.

I’ve ventured through your streets at 4am laughing with best friends in search of poutine, spent many an evenings enjoying your patios, made out with boys in your alleyways, found my running legs somewhere between the beaches, high park and the 401, and became a better, stronger, wiser person in the time I spent with you.

You introduced me to some of my best friends, and will keep them and my family in your midst, which means I’ll be back throughout my life, or who knows maybe for good, if it turns out I took you for granted.

You were good to me Little City, that, you were, and despite me knowing it was never the perfect fit (cough snow cough ruined lakefront) I have more than enjoyed our time together and wouldn’t change a thing.

Love Liz
