Tonight I decided to be responsible and pass on the booze fest birthday party  festivities for a run (4.4k) to a park and then play ultimate frisbee with a team that needed another girl.

And not to toot my own horn (but toot! toot!) I’m pretty damn good at throwing frisbees, (it’s one of my many few secret talents, eating is another, but let’s be honest you already knew that) so I was quite excited to play… because umm, how hard could ultimate frisbee be?

So…

I sucked.  I was the cliche fat girl who sucked at sports.  I ran out of breath so quickly and the guys simply dominated me.

However, the guys were all awesome and supportive so I had an excellent time and plan on playing with the team as much as possible and improving my frisbee throwing (if that’s even possible, again toot! toot!) and running skillz as I diminish my waistline.

Welcome! I'm Liz. Canadian in Melbourne. Accidental runner. Wait, accidental marathoner. Traveler. Eater of cheese. And I'm the girl not listening to the table conversation, but rather debating eating that last piece of bread.
